Title & Level: AS/A Level French (Level 3)Introduction
This course will enable you to understand French spoken at normal speed by native speakers, read newspapers, magazines and the internet in French, express your own ideas fairly fluently in French in both speech and writing and understand something of the civilisation and culture of France. We will try to ensure you have the opportunity to develop as a fluent and confident user of your new language and to provide you with opportunities to travel abroad, meet the people and learn something of their culture. We try to develop the four language skills in every topic and you will therefore find yourself working individually, in pairs, in larger groups, and of course, as a class.
Entry requirements
You should have grade A* to B in GCSE French.
Duration
The AS Level is a one year course and the A Level course is two years. Enrolment is only in September.
