Career Prospects/Progression
A Level Physics is highly regarded by employers and is a preferred qualification for many degree courses. It can be studied with other sciences or combined with any other A Levels. This course has been designed to be interesting, fun to study and gives you the knowledge and understanding to deal confidently with the modern technological world.
How will I be assessed?
Both the AS and A Level courses consist of several compulsory modules and coursework. Modules are examined in January and June each year. Each unit is assessed by examination. It is possible to re-sit modules, in order to improve grades. The coursework is internally assessed and provides a wide variety of opportunities to study an aspect of Physics of your own choice. The course can provide an opportunity to acquire evidence for Key Skills.
