Extended Project Qualification

The EPQ is offered as part of the AQA Bacc and as a stand alone qualification to those on an A Level programme. It accrues up to 70 UCAS points and develops and extends your study areas and personal interests.

You will pick an area of interest and plan, research and carry out a project on your chosen topic, providing evidence at each stage for later assessment. You will also give a presentation on your project.

Universities look favourable on the EPQ because it clearly demonstrates independence, initiative and highly developed research skills, essential attributes for a successful academic career.
