Title & Level: AS Level Economics (Level 3)Introduction
Economics is an interesting and challenging subject that looks at how society sets about meeting people’s demands for things they need and want. The course looks at the world from the view of Microeconomics, the economics of the individual, and Macroeconomics, the national and international level.
Entry requirements
Standard entry requirements, including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
Duration
AS Level is a one year course. Enrolment is only in September.
Career Prospects/Progression
You apply for university-level courses in a wide range of subjects, including Business and Social Sciences. Some students enter business apprenticeships in local/multi-national companies.
How will I be assessed?
Formal assessment will be through exam.
