The Children's Centre
IntroductionIn 1985 Yeovil College opened a Nursery offering sessional care for children aged 2 – 5 years. Over the years since then, we have extended our provisions and services and are now able to provide full day care for up to 41 children at any given time, ages ranging from 3 months to 5 years. Our aim is to provide the children with a happy, secure and caring environment, which stimulates and encourages their natural development. We aim at independent decision making by the children, supported by our team of qualified staff, but the emphasis is on fun, within the context of a structured day. Through a range of experiences and individual support we aim to encourage the children to express themselves and develop into happy and confident individuals. The caring family atmosphere that we provide helps the children to settle and establish themselves whilst flourishing as their needs are met. |
