The Children’s Centre is registered with OFSTED and is, therefore, subject to the registration requirements laid down by them.  This includes a limited number of children in any age group and specific staffing ratios:

• 3 months – 2 years  1 staff – 3 children
• 2 years   1 staff – 4 children
• 3 – 5 years   1 staff – 8 children

Student Training

The Children’s Centre is a training facility for students on a variety of caring courses, including DCE and NVQ.  They stay with us for varying periods of time, determined by the requirements of their course.  All students are police checked and supervised by our staff.
