Leonardo Building

The Leonardo Building 

Our innovative £5.7 million Leonardo Building is home to our Engineering, Art, Media & Publishing departments. Most of the ground floor is dedicated to Engineering workshops, while the first floor features IT rooms and a media studio, as well as a number of new classrooms. Art and design students use the top floor, which incorporates darkrooms, exhibition areas and other facilities.

Advanced Engineering Facilities

The state-of-the-art Engineering workshops and high-tech machinery enable us to deliver teaching of Advanced Engineering focused on four key areas: Composites, CAD, CNC and Process Control.

Catering students

Hospitality Facilities 

 

Our extensive Hospitality facilities are complimented by two purpose-built training kitchens, where students are encouraged to learn the skills they need for the Hospitality professions.  Students also train in the DaVinci Restaurant, where they are asessed on their customer care skills and the use of a computer-based order and billing system.

5th Floor Science Centre

The 5th Floor Science Centre at the College is an outstanding open-plan laboratory suite with computer access, supporting science teaching and learning for the 21st century. Its unique design has prompted visits from other colleges across the UK, and it provides an excellent working atmosphere for our students where science can be enjoyed.
