Title and Level: Deaf Awareness

Introduction
Do you work in the health or care sector? Do you work within the community? Are you facing hearing loss?
This course will give you a sound understanding of issues facing the deaf community, and is ideal for anyone who has contact with deaf people in either a professional or a private capacity.  This course includes deaf awareness for deaf and deaf/blind people.

Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements
Learners need to committ to the whole course and be prepared to take the assessments required.

Duration
Tuesdays 6.00pm to 8.00pm 01/11/11 - 06/12/11

Career prospects/progression
Learners may wish to go and do further study in the subject area, employment.
