Title and Level: Human Physiology & Health GCSE

Introduction
What goes on beneath your skin?  This 'human biology' course will help you develop an understanding of the biological nature of mankind, our place in the animal kingdom and how our body's systems work.  It includes the practical coursework assessment required by the exam board.

Entry Requirements 
None but an interest in the subject

Duration 
Tuesdays 18:30 - 20:30 for one academic year.

Careers prospects/Progression
AS Biology, AS Human Biology, AS Environmental Science and Vocational training such as nursing and veterinary assistants.

How will I be assessed 
By examination and coursework

Course content/units 
Evening lectures with work to be completed at home. Coursework will be done in lectures.

Course expenses 
Course fees: £315 (£42.00 if you are in receipt of certain benefits)

Lab coats for practical work are provided.

An additional fee of £10 will be payable to Yeovil College after enrolment.
