The accreditation is designed to recognise the important role that colleges play and to ensure that pupils have a positive experience within, and exposure to, the sport of badminton. Badminton England is the sport's governing body in England. The organisation is responsible for the management and training of the elite England squad and works alongside the other home nation governing bodies to prepare British players for the Olympics.

Yeovil College is joining forces with colleges around the country to highlight the impact of a £200m cut to funding for adult students. Colleges, by far the biggest providers of vocational training in Britain, have been told their ‘adult learner responsive’ budgets will shrink by 10 to 25% this year.  Yeovil College is fighting on behalf of its students and local communities to make Government aware of the likely impact of the changes and at the very least to have the freedom to manage budgets more flexibly in order to help mitigate against the effects. NEW Full-time and Apprenticeship Interactive Online Application Form

The new interactive online application form offers you drop down lists to make selections from, speeding data entry; a good indication of what data is required and a clear layout.  Once you have completed a page on the form there is provision for you to go back to that page and change entered data if required.

Before a completed form is submitted you have the opportunity to print out a copy for your records. (NOTE: Yeovil College strongly suggests that you take the opportunity to print out your own copy)  On submission of the form you will receive confirmation that Yeovil College has received it and advice on what the next steps in your application are.

All in all this makes for an easier, smoother and efficient application process for you to apply for Full-time courses and Apprenticeships.  We look forward to receiving your application.
