Official Opening of the Leonardo Building

Over 100 guests, students, employers and parents’ celebrated the official launch of the new Leonardo building today. The official ceremony was topped off by an exciting firework display and finished with a magnificent red firework sign of the name Leonardo. Leonardo Opening

Yeovil College has double cause for celebrations as two students have been selected to represent England Under 20’s for Women’s Rugby. Marlie Packer who was part of the successful team last year has been selected once again as open sideflanker. Charlotte Male who only started playing whist at college last year is also a member of Ivel Ladies. Two picked for England

The Small Business Networking Event held at the University Centre Yeovil (UCY) last Wednesday proved to be a resounding success. Barbara Hawkins wins STAR award  

Barbara Hawkins wins Quality Improvement Agency `STAR’ Awards 2007

The Learning Link team at Yeovil College are celebrating the success of their Manager who has been voted a regional winner in the `Outstanding Innovation’ category in the Quality Improvement Agency `STAR’ Awards 2007. Barbara Hawkins was nominated for the award by Angela Coward, Head of Learner Journey Services at Yeovil College. Barbara now goes forward to the National Finals that are being held in Billingsgate, London later this month. Barbara Recieving Award
