North Dorset Skills Centre (NDSC) - ShaftesburyThe Centre was established in order to provide quality education and training for both young people and adults. We offer opportunities across a number of occupational areas in line with The Governments National Skills Strategy, which stresses the importance of a well-qualified and effective workforce. The courses available are specifically directed at meeting the needs of business, the local employment market and the local community. The centre provides excellent facilities in which learners can undertake tasters and training on a day a week basis. Learners can study for NVQs which can lead directly to Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeship courses.
