Information, Advice & Guidance

Yeovil College has been reassessed and approved for the national Matrix Standard for a high quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Service. This crucial standard helps to check and maintain the high levels of information and support given to all learners throughout the information and enrolment process and has been held by the College since 2004. 

If you are unsure of the right course level for you, or would like more information on any of our courses, please call our Customer Liaison & Enrolment Team on 01935 423921.

For some courses you will require a brief interview prior to joining the course. These will be marked with the  Advice and guidance symbol symbol in either the Prospectus or eProspectus.

Enrolling on a course

You can enrol at any time of the year. It is important that you enrol before the course starts so that we can ensure there are sufficient resources for all learners. Whilst we make every effort to accommodate late applicants, we cannot guarantee you a place on your chosen course.

You can enrol on most of the courses in person, by post or telephone. Please have your National Insurance Number with any evidence of payments by the State available when enrolling. Also, ensure you have read and understood the information on the Important Information page. 

In Person

Our Customer Liaison & Enrolment Team, based in Reception, will be available to take personal enrolments all year round, between Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 4.45pm.

There are certains times of the year, such as Enrolment Events and the first week of part-time classes starting, when Customer Liaison & Enrolment will be open until 7.00pm. Please check with Reception for further details or call 01935 423921.

By Post 

Please download and print out the Enrolment Agreement Form. Completely fill out the Enrolment Agreement Form and send to: Customer Liaison & Enrolment Team, Yeovil College Mudford Road, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 4DR. Cheques should be made payable to Yeovil College. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH Payments by Debit or Credit Card, please ensure you complete all the details on the Enrolment Form.

To enrol by telephone please ring (01935) 423921.  However, you will need to make payment at the time of enrolment.
