Skills for Life

Skills for Life courses are for adults who want to improve their skills in literacy, language or numeracy.  These skills are important for you to be able to function well in society.

The numeracy and literacy courses are not like ‘school’.  You will be in a class with a small group of students who all want to learn. You will work towards a recognised qualification and improve your self-confidence at work and in the home.  This may lead you on to another course at Yeovil College or it may help you gain more recognition at work.

You will be placed on a course that is suitable for your starting level and you can discuss your aims and ambitions with a fully qualified tutor.

We are always looking for volunteers.
