Introduction

The College places a high value on maintaining a positive partnership with parents as well as students and will work to ensure that you are fully informed about the progress that your son or daughter is making.

The information in this Parents section of the College Website aims to give you a brief outline of College procedures and codes as they affect parents of Yeovil College students.

Every student will be given a college diary at enrolment containing important information about what is available at College and outlines of some of its policies. It is really important that students use their diaries as a source of reference and I would ask that you encourage them to do so.

Social and Leisure Activities for Students and Parents

The College offers a number of social and leisure activities for students and their parents, some of the more prominent ones are shown below:

Fitness Centre
The College Fitness Centre is open to students and the public. Please ring 01935 845375 for membership details or to book an induction.

Performing Arts
Yeovil College hosts many performances and events throughout the year, a full list of which will be published in the autumn.

Hospitality Events in the Da Vinci Restaurant
The DaVinci Restaurant is open weekdays from midday until 1:00 pm for lunch. There will also be a number of themed evenings and Christmas fine dining.

Hair Zone
NVQ2 and 3 students provide closely supervised hairdressing services in the Hair Zone where prices reflect the fact that this is a training salon

Pure Beauty Salon
NVQ2 and 3 students provide closely supervised beauty & holistic treatments in the Pure Beauty salon and booking requests can be made online.  The salons treatment prices reflect the fact that this is a training salon.
